PIER 39, the second most-visited attraction in California, is located at Beach Street and the Embarcadero just two blocks east of Fisherman's Wharf. This renovated cargo pier hosts over 10.5 million visitors annually. UnderWater World is America's first "under the sea" aquarium experience. PIER 39's all-new 707,000-gallon walk-through aquarium takes visitors along a seascaped ocean bottom inside a 400-foot long, acrylic see-through tunnel.
